SUN

Yes its true, there is a sun up there.

Very busy day, we have got to the stage of choosing the new kitchen floor, so we're nearly there now. You never know we might get it done by Christmas, unless we have gone bankrupt meantime.

The dogs got very bored with this, so I quickly loaded them into the car and we went to Littleburn where they had so much fun. Bud, of course, dropped the precious ball into the burn, he spent a quarter of an hour looking for it under all the overhanging banks and amongst the fallen trees only to drop it in again when a very attractive young female chocolate cocker came along. So there is something more attractive than his ball!

By this time Poppy and I were fed up with standing around waiting for him so I cheated. I always carry a spare ball now for any such emergency, whilst he was racing up one bank I quickly dropped the emergency ball into a shallow part and lo and behold he had found a ball and off we went again.

This afternoon was agility for Bud and pig's ear treat for Poppy. Bud was really alert, it must have been all that ball searching beforehand that primed him, I couldn't keep up with him. But it was such fun.
