actually I'm not going to finish that sentence as my body hurts that much even the thought of writing it turns my stomach.
70 miles covered today between Southwark park and Hampton Court taking in all of the major landmarks and 13 London bridges of our great Capital city. It really is a beautiful city. Up at 06.00 back at 17.30 and despite the sunburn and not being able to sit down (...) an enjoyable day. It started badly as I left the house early and before I had even sat on the bike my foot got caught in the gate and I landed face first into the ground with the heap of metal on top of me. If anyone saw this at 06.50... well I just hope they didn't.
I could get into cycling in a big way but need a better more lightweight bike that doesn't feel like your dragging a JCB up a hill. I also need to learn how to ride in central London. I still take to the roads as most kids do a playground on their BMX when they are 9 years old. For some reason buses, taxi's and motorcyclists don't like a chap weaving in and out of the traffic, avoiding all the drains and holes in the road (because his padded cycling shorts don't work..) and doing wheelies down Baker Street....
Going to bed now dreaming of being the new Bradley Wiggins
