Two Archies!

Chores done and ready for off by 9am. With an afternoon of tennis on offer, I was keen to get out and back by midday.

We did the Hermitage of Braid walk - haven't done it for ages. It was a bit of a struggle up the steep bits - not only my old creaky knees, but annoying socks which kept sliding down into my shoes.

Today we met lots of golden retrievers and black labradors. And a corgi (don't see many of them these days). We walked along with a gorgeous big friendly retriever, Orla, (and her owner) and she kept going in the river and lying down (the dog, that is, not the owner) Archie had a paddle.

We met a wee baby called Archie, he's much cuter than muddy little doggy Archie was today! I added him as an extra shot.

We're both stuffed. I fully deserve a Magnum this afternoon. I was delighted to buy a box two boxes of four at the local shop at half price. What a bargain!

Yesterday's prospective dog borrowers were delightful, and so keen to get to know and borrow Archie.

Another couple tonight. He's in demand!
