How can you lose a tree?

 A quick dog walk round Cliffe Castle, Keighley, this morning...I went to look for The handkerchief tree as I assumed it would be in bloom about now and it's the only handkerchief tree I know of and indeed have ever seen.  Could I find it.... well where's it gone.. it must be around here somewhere.  I need Chrysanthemum to come back from her jollies to show me... she'll know!
