A new wild flower
Well, a new one on me, anyway.
I came across this little burst of sunshine at the edge of the field and wondered if it had made its way through the hedge of the adjacent garden, but no, the neighbour told me it had nothing to do with her and she couldn't identify it.
Later this morning I found a note through the letter-box from the neighbour, saying that she had looked it up and thought it was called Fox and Cubs.
It has a fancy Latin name and is also known as Orange Hackweed, but I much prefer Fox and Cubs!
Not as dreich as yesterday, but still overcast and cold. I finally found out how to put the heating on in this house after freezing last night.
Have a good weekend, blipmates.
