Little steps on a great journey
I was priviledged to watch the young boys and girls in our local church making their First Communion today. Some may think it out-dated, or meaningless, or out of touch or maybe weird - but it brought back many happy memories of my big day when I was 7 and the joyful days we had when No 1 and No 2 made theirs.
I've watched these boys and girls grow over the weeks - they are always an inspiration to me. I wish them peace and joy in their journey through life.
At home, No 1 and No 2 were at show rehearsals. Mr S, me and No 3 took her scooter along the Water of Leith walkway to Colinton Dell. I should have learned from last weeks attempt at fresh air and exercise - 30 mins later, the wheel fell of the scooter and the rain came on ! Still - it was nice to get out!
Big girls back and we spent a few hours watching old show DVDs - many years of them ! Lots of hilarity about costumes, and dances and what they all looked like when they only knew how to skip in a circle ! Can't wait for the show in the Autumn when I will be able to enjoy watching my 3 girls on stage at the same time for the first time.
You make me very very proud.
