The Barn Swallow family

They are very busy these days flitting about and feeding the youngsters…the nest under the ramp to our dock has become very disheveled - I especially like the feathers hanging down.   These must be getting ready to fledge.   The extra is one of the parents, or at least they were the ones doing the feeding...… there were 2  about 2 ft apart on the ramp railing — but no way could I manage to get both in focus at once…
