Carvings

We had discussed visiting Pichátaro today where a wood carving festival had been advertised. We had visited before back in 2012 during our summer of competitions, but this trip we have been burned more than once by an advertised festival occurring on a different date. In the end, we elected to stay closer to home on our final full day in Pátzcuaro and visit the carvers on the way to the pier instead. No competition happening, but plenty of wood pieces to view, photograph and purchase (I photographed, my wife purchased).
