You Never See Baby Pigeons...

Well now I have - and thanks to the wonders of blip so can you!

I spotted these three birds in the hedgerow at the back of our house and they were all keeping very quiet and very still - which is most unusual for pigeons. It took me a while to work out that at least one was a baby as it fed from the adult bird!

When they all started moving it became obvious that there were two juveniles. Not quite got their full colours and not grown into their beaks yet!

I had to up the ISO as they were well concealed in a dark recess and I was leaning out of the bathroom window, standing on the toilet to get a bit closer. Still had to crop quite a bit though.
