Home By The Sea

After a couple of games of padel in the increasing heat, we made a detour on the way home up the hill to La Paloma, to where the fire was on Friday.

This was taken from near the blackened remains of trees and brush, marking how the fire had reached to within a couple of metres of some large villas on the top of the hill.

This is our urbanisation and beach below. In the extra image, X marks our house.

The strong westerly breeze means the sea is quite cold, but we have just braved it to cool down for the evening.
