"DOWN BY THE SEA "

Today we had Summer.  It was absolutely perfect.  No wind, just wall to wall sunshine and as such the beach was mobbed.  I have never seen Crantock beack busy before but Oh my, it was heaving.

We had decided to spend Matthew's last day with us on the beach, plus the weather forecast was great.  We thoroughly enjoyed our base camp and had 'fizzy pop' plus pasties.  I had my first real splash wearing swimming gear.

After we returned from the beach it was nearly 18.00 so we took ourselves to our local pub and Matthew thoroughly enjoyed his Curry of the day.  We sat around the Chiminea near the summer house, and you can see it looks quite decorative.

The extra photies are of Matthew and a skilled builder who spent the entire day forming this amazing Dragon.

It has been a great time with Matthew and we will find it difficult to take him back tomorrow.
