Brown Argus

Despite appearing blue I'm pretty convinced this is a Brown Argus - there's a slim chance its a Northern Brown Argus - but the spots on the forewings seem too distinct - always happy to be corrected though.

This won out as today's blip as it actually made a damp and dreich day look sunny and bright - which it was for a moment - but not the sort of weather you'd hope for on August Bank Holiday. Still it meant I avoided being tempted into any of the Lakes honeypots and missed the crowds - instead a lovely lunch and catchup with a friend and lots of admin done.
