Second pretend birthday party!

In my daughter's class everyone gets to celebrate their birthday at school. As there are a number of children in her class who have their birthdays during the summer hols the teachers have allocated certain days for the celebrations to take place. Today was Olivia's turn. We baked the cakes at the weekend and I (fortunately) took loads of decorations in for the children to decorate them. It was a good job as there were none left at the end as most of the cakes resembled the one above (apart from O's as she actually had some kind of plan when it came to decorating her own!).

Every time I look at this photo it makes me giggle. I love how no rules have been applied in the decorating of it - just pile it all on and make as much mess as possible when eating it!
