"AND THEY SWAM, AND THEY SWAM ..."

Took our dearest friend Margaret to the beach this morning so she could see our wonderful beach and appreciate why we love this place so much.

As the tide was out, we wandered down to the little pools left by the receding tide and for the first time in 50 years, saw these little fish stranded in a small pool.  Knowing that the sun would probably dry the water out, we managed to break down the sand walls and encourage them all to swim further into the moving water, down to the river which was flowing out.

We don't know what sort of fish they were only that they looked very like the ones you eat as Whitebait!!!

The other picture is the huge unspoilt beach now that most visitors have gone.

The weather is now cloudy and will probably get colder again tonight.

Thank you for the kind comments on my sand bubbles.  Hugs to you all. xxx
