Little helper

Day off today as the lawn and a tonne of soil were due to be delivered as it couldn’t be delivered on Friday. Spent the morning digging out an old bush that we decided had to go as it’s talking up too much space. While I was digging it out I almost covered this bee in soil. He seemed to be having some trouble flying around, but didn’t want the sugar water I put down for him. He eventually flew off with no issues.

Soil arrived in the afternoon, a bit late as the guy had a flat tyre in the morning. Decided to start on the small part of the lawn and managed to get the soil in place and flattered. I then realised I didn’t have enough to do the main part so had to dig it back up again and put it in the bigger part to get more turf in place. Also need to dig up quite a bit of the veg patch to make sure there was enough soil. Still managed to get the main part of the lawn down just after it went dark
