Poinsettia

Our home is now decorated with Advent lights in every room, which makes a nice change. We even have a star! Mum says it is still another month until the sun starts coming back. The afternoons are so dark... Please hurry!

Rainy and windy today, which neither of us like. We watched cross-country skiing, and then I snoozed while mum went downtown. She came back all mysterious and put away a big bag, saying it was not to be opened until Christmas.

The blip was either this or me with a saffron bun and some gingerbread cookies. Mum said the latter would have been a high risk project, so this new Christmas poinsettia will have to do. Mum thinks it might be poisonous and It has been put out of reach.
