Skiing on "our" Lake

Another few centimeters of snow falls and Jan and I dress up warmly to try skiing once again.  That little extra snow makes a lot of difference and this time it’s much better, . We can ski directly from the front door and there’s no scraping on the frozen ground.
A little snow is still falling and it’s minus 15°C but we are getting into our stride with this weather and remembering how to dress and in what! We arrive home feeling just right, neither cold nor sweaty.
We did a circuit of “our" lake, past the beaver lodge, which looked like a large heap of snow! The trip is about 5 km I guess. If we do the same tomorrow our track will be getting good and easy to ski.
