New London Tall Ships

Today my sister and I drove to New London to see the tall ships. We saw 3 of them come in and also saw US navy vessels and hundreds of yachts. It was an amazing sight and such a fabulous party atmosphere. There were stalls and food stands everywhere and everyone was so happy and friendly.

This guy played his drum spendidly well and I just could not resist this shot against a whole wall of musical graffiti.

It rained!! Big huge raindrops and with every one ,a little less humidity! Phew!

We are having another BBQ this evening - more people keen to meet us and have a chat!

Tomorrow my sister and my niece are taking Susan and I out on a surprise - we are to leave at 8am...so it must be a journey!! I LOVE surprises!!
