Pilrig Park

Previously advertised as a blip meet on Facebook, I met arclight by the swings in Pilrig Park and on a clear, sunny blowy afternoon we snatched a quick blip and then after a quick bike ride to Leith Walk, we had a quick coffee.

My shooting schedule said 'from across the football pitch, somewhere on the main E/W path'. The tags were on a white container being used by workmen fixing a wall at the back of the Pilrig Park School. The researcher obviously wasn't aware of the Great British tradesman - since the recce of last Thursday, the wall has been almost completely rebuilt thus pretty much obscuring the tag to be blipped.

The extra shows the shot I should have got.... Time and tide (and bricklayers) wait for no man. So, undaunted, we set about trespassing and breaking through security fencing (sort of) and got the job done.

And then back to the day jobs we went.
