2016 Sunday -- After the Rain

We woke to the sound of rain this morning. Middle day we thought the raindrops were gone so we hurried out to walk the pups on the sand at low tide, only to discover that we were getting rained on and the air was terribly cold. So we walked fast and made the best of the moment.

We all returned to the car and immediately started the engine and the heater. We left the pier at the north end of town and drove to the south beach just for a look, and that is where I captured this photo of two surfers on the shore and another catching a wave.

Later in the day we experienced lots of wind. We had heard that Sunday would bring a wind storm and it did.

And so, January comes to an end.
