Morning arrival

Early morning visit to Southampton Airport today to meet our daughter Claire arriving from Perpignan for a few days.
Not that a 10.17 arrival was early when measured alongside Claire's check-in at Perpignan by 5.30. Her flight by Air France via Paris was straightforward although it was Claire's first visit to Orly.
And neither part of her journey was actually on an Air France plane.
We were not so fortunate a little while back when we chose an Air France booking from Southampton to Milan via Orly. An unfortunate but lengthy delay in take/off saw us miss the connection in Paris which meant a ten hour wait at Orly. Believe me, there are so many tours of the shops at an airport you can do.
No delays like that this morning and it was a delight to see Claire emerge from the arrivals hall.
We shall enjoy the few days that she is with us. Bienvenue.
