Vara de Rey

An awful quick blip, but this is Vara de Rey, the boulevard at the end of our street...a good long stretch for Asha to whiz up and down on her scooter (named Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, just 'Chitty to friends! ;-))...
A morning as a community, looking at the story of the prodigal son and the painting by Rembrandt...loved Abby's point that the son has his head/ear to the Father's heart...
Asha was with us today as it's a day off from school because of tomorrow's fiesta...so she did her own copy of the famous image! Ha! Giving Rembrandt a run for his money...not sure her copy could pass as the original though... ;-)

Then a good afternoon hanging out in the Roma places.

Also the plumber finally came this afternoon - he'll sort the bathroom on Wednesday, so we'll just hope for either a) no more flooding or b) more towels to soak up the flood.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha being part of our morning.
2) Family putting up with me when I'm in a grump - all the bathroom stuff + cockroaches really put me on edge...took me a while to work out that was why I was touchy!
3) Walking round town with Asha & Danny in the late afternoon sunshine...
