Diary of an Edinburgher

Cake!

The alarm went off at 8am for Archie's signal to get out of his bed. He's taken to having a wee play before he finally settles down on the bed to snooze again, so all I have to do is stick my arm out of bed and grab hold of whichever toy he proffers, and we have a tug-of-war, both of us happy with the arrangement.

We popped round to Leo's house for lunch. Leo was in fine form - what a delightful wee lad he is, full of fun. We had a Leo Easter egg hunt in the garden (quite easy - one was just on the lawn, in full view). We were able to sit out in the sun with a coffee and cake, Storm Katie not having reached us, thank goodness.

When we came home Archie went doubly crazy, dashing between sofas, trying to smother each of us turn. He's not left on his own much.

We then took him up the Hill. There were still some bits of egg shell lying around, only small bits - the dogs yesterday presumably having hoovered them up - but he found them very interesting. Even more interesting than some dogs. Certainly more interesting than dashing back and forth between us...

PS Here's a very good freebie for photographers!
