Raindrops on roses

Ok, on iris.  

Any outside photo today was likely to feature raindrops predominantly. This was taken in a very brief pause in the rain (I didn't even make it past the end of the terrace before it started again).  

Mostly ironing.  Never good.  Also a trip to the insurance company to find out just how stuck Mr B is likely to be with the broken car in Bordeaux. (Quite.)  But he had some very good news with an entirely unexpected exam pass - so providing he makes his planes, trains and (probably) no automobiles journey home tomorrow, we will be all set for a double celebration on Thursday.  Regardless of the weather.

And I solved the mystery of the lemon tree that arrived on Saturday.  But didn't solve the mystery of how to warm up the kids' bedrooms.  So, win-lose.
