Snowdonia

Today's the day ......................... to see the view

This is the view of the mountains of Snowdonia from the island of Anglesey.

We went across the Menai Straits this morning to see Will's Aunt Diane and take her out for lunch.  You couldn't see any of the mountains then - they were shrouded in thick clouds.  But by the time we left, things had brightened up considerably - there was blue sky to be seen and the evening sun was shining.  We went round a bend in the road and this is what we saw.

And it made us realise why we'd been feeling a bit chilly for the past couple of days.  It's been cold enough up on the high peaks to give a fair covering of snow .........................
