Wind turbines - mmmmmh - I'm not sure I'm a big fan .....?!

As we have travelled up from Kendal to Edinburgh over the years, the scenery has changed beyond recognition.  It used to be mile upon mile of dark, foreboding coniferous forest.  A lot of that has been cleared away leaving just the occasional spikey trunk - left so that insects will have a temporary home until the new trees are planted. 

And now that the big trees have gone, you get an uninterrupted view of the wind turbines that seem to be springing up on a daily basis.  Hopefully it's a view that will improve as the years go on ...........................
