A rare sight

I seem to remember when I was small that my brother and I were encouraged to do chores around the house or in the garden but I don't think I've ever really done that with my own kids. Dan, to be fair, will always pick up a tea towel when I'm washing up but there has been a recent occasion when he was slightly flummoxed by the toaster so I'm thinking about doing a bit of cooking with them.

Dan has done a year's "food tech" at school, which Abi is about to start, so we shouldn't need to start from scratch. Tonight I was making fajitas - which requires two lots of chicken as Abi dislikes spicy food - so I broke them in gently, getting each of them to stir their trying pan. And the fajitas were excellent :-)
