Day and a half

Was made to feel like a child today - and not in a good way! Trip to Dental Hygienist where I admitted I was not using my InterDental brushes daily - what would be the point of lying - she could see the evidence in my gums! So I was chastised and left with 3 different interdental brushes! Is it my fault I have a small mouth and can't get to the ones at the back?!! I fear on trying to use them that night I still could not get the brush far enough back in my mouth to do around the Wisdom teeth - yes I have wisdom apparently! But I will persevere so that I don't feel humiliated in my visit in 3 months time!
I had a snooze in the sun in the afternoon - much to Tilly and Polly's dismay or alarm, I'm not sure which! I do know they kept sitting on me and pecking at me! 
Finally I got myself together and headed up to the allotment to do watering, weeding and put the chickens to bed. Having wormed the girls the other week some had very dirty bottoms, so I grabbed them and cleaned them - were they pleased with my ministrations?  No! Just as I was cleaning the water bowl I noticed Snowdrop - dirty bottom and prolapse - damn it just seems to be endless problems with the girls at the moment. So I cleaned her bottom and tried pushing it back in, but it kept popping right back out. So as I used to do when giving rectal valium to my children, before the days of Midazolam and oral medication, I pushed it in and squeezed and held her back end - only for it to pop out once more. So into the cat basket she went and home for the night and a message sent to the coop members asking if anyone could take her to the vets - still no answer when I finally went to bed so the story will continue tomorrow!
