Diary of an Edinburgher

Dog friendly

Becky came to take Archie out for the morning. I was going to tidy out my shed. But I couldn't be bothered. I watched the Daily Politics Show on TV instead. Always riveting.

Then Bailey and her mum came, and we walked over to Montpelier's for lunch, via some dashing hither and thither in the Links (just the dogs). Archie really runs around with her - he loves Bailey to chase him.

We had a table with a good view of the barman working behind the bar, I realised he was the same chap as last time they were here because he (and several waitresses) made a big fuss of both dogs - they got their drinks and snacks long before we did. In fact, we did have rather a long wait... but the meals were good when they did arrive. And very good value at £10 for two meals.

Back for another gambol in the Links, then tennis (on TV, just in case you thought otherwise, hehehe) in the afternoon. Janet fixed a long standing iPhone techie problem while the dogs snoozed, then played, then snoozed all afternoon.

Last day tomorrow for JR!
