Fifty shades of rain

Was a late but well worthwhile last night. Not in til late so managed probably about 5-6 hours sleep. It's seemed a very long week this week!!!

Quite a decent morning. Managed breakfast outside and roof down to work too.

In the office, the tv in the kitchen was noticeably much louder today, think due to the prospects of more golds - we did congregate there to see the nail biting finish to the lightweight four...silver for us!

Weather changed in the afternoon and suddenly a huge downpour battering the windows. Pic is of the NCP car park out of my window, blurred by the downpour.

Gold medals in the afternoon for a local lad in the kayaking. Then the velodrome action started, disappointing as Pendleton disqualified in the team event, but joy as the boys win gold!

Home and walked round to mums. Ted the dog has returned from the kennels to a new home and he has taken to it very well indeed.

Tonight, more olympics on the tele, Phelps winning another amazing gold. Loving it!
