Charlottenburg Palace

Visited Charlottenburg Palace today.  It was shrouded in scaffolding!!  Some of the areas where still open so we paid for tickets and one for the camera(!) and had a look inside (blip).  It was stifling in the palace with tons of people and to be honest I didn't enjoy it because of the lack of air and crowds,  so we decided to enjoy a walk in the vast gardens instead.

After a couple of hours we headed back 'home' and went for a few nice relaxing drinks and enjoyed watching the world go by.

We then decided to walk to the Cathedral at what would seem to be the same time the heavens opened. Taking some shelter and walking quickly between tree to tree we made it to the Cathedral only to find out it was closed to 'sightseeing' due to a concert!!

Back at the hotel drying off and then we will be getting ready for dinner.  

Tomorrow we travel to our next destination.
