6 goes into 3

early (or rather, earlier) to bed, early to rise. had set alarm with the intention of going out on an early bike ride, but just as i'd put my head on the pillow i remember an appointment with the charities accountant tomorrow and i needed to run a back up of our accounts. therefore set alarm earlier, up at 5.45am to do that, and then time for a lovely bike ride, 6 miles, no traffic, no noise, just clear blue sky, a perfect start to a Thursday! porridge with cinnamon and banana to follow!

into work, rag top down, blue sky all the way!

walked across the city at lunch, was scorching. Meeting with charity accountant was good, had my first lesson of book-keeping!! though, she said i'd done a fine job without tuition for the last year!

home, and you know it's hot when you can't touch your steering wheel!!

all the family at mums tonight. bro visiting briefly and back to IOM tomorrow with more furniture etc for Mandy and the crown prince. we had a champagne toast at mums, to welcome her to 49, and also to say bon voyage to Mand and Alex...

before they went home, they had a trip to 'rene at no. 3!'. this is the view from mums bedroom!! classic!
