Happy Day

So our big day arrived and I am single no more!  We had a really wonderful day with everything going to plan.  Even so, I have to admit I did feel really nervous before the ceremony!

We had an acoustic guitarist playing for us during and after the ceremony and we managed to hold the drinks reception outside on the terrace overlooking Goodwood House.  The children played ball and had their pictures taken with the vintage golf buggies, and after our meal friends joined our family for cake and afternoon tea.  

I was so thrilled with my flowers. They were locally grown English cottage garden flowers.  Our dining table was lined with little jars overflowing the flowers and herbs.  People were able to take them home as a momenta of the day, along with a jar of homemade blackberry and apple jam and some wild flower seeds to sow.

Emily and Oliver, my niece and nephew, were my bridesmaid and pageboy.  They did a brilliant job of looking after me all day and being full of smiles and fun, so Em and Ollie, as special thanks you are my blip today xx
