Under Blackwater Bridge

Blackwater River has a number of waterfalls within less than 100 metres - all of them taken on by whitewater kayakers.

This one is literally under the bridge - so the only way to photograph it is to prop the tripod over the edge of the bridge and screw yourself into contortions in order to hold the camera and tripod and stop yourself going over the bridge all at the same time. Fun.

I had planned for the fact that it was going to rain all day today so I thought it would necessitate a drippy blip but, as happens, the forecasters were wrong here and we had a fine (though grey) day.
