Taxi for Doreen!!

It was bound to happen, a bit of a rubbish night last night, especially for hub!

We had to be up and out for 9.15 as we had flu jabs booked for 9.30......once we had been stabbed, it was off to Lidl for a few bits we needed.

Back home for a coffee and an hour watching a bit of Saturday Kitchen, which I used to love, no so today, sorry Rick, as much as I love your recipes, you're no James Martin :-/

Next we hit the road, over to Mums for a few hours. first things first, egg and bacon sandwiches for 3.........very nice they were to, even if I do say so myself ;-)

During the afternoon, sis popped in to replenish mums tablet dispenser so hub grabbed the chance to get a good,look at their new car. I took the chance to grab a blip of them but I was just too late, so I decided to blip both ours and their new car for today's blip!

Mum and I did some sweeping up of the leaves from her large and beautiful Acer, hub watched some horse racing......several cups of tea were consumed during the afternoon too!

We had to leave before 5 so we could pick up daughter from the train station, so I left Mums dinner on her tray for warmin later, with her raspberry and pistachio dessert ;-)

Once we had picked up daughter and got back to hers, hub searched for his keys, which had daughters house keys on there too, nowhere to be found......we had managed to leave them behind, on mums sofa!! Fortunately daughters cleaner doesn't live too far away so after a phone call and a detour all was well.......at least we didn't have to go all the way back to mums!!!

We had the same for dinner as mum followed by your typical Saturday night TV menu ;-)

Hope we can get out for a nice long walk tomorrow..........and hopefully a more interesting blip!!
