As it was a beautiful morning I decided to go to Cotehele for a morning walk. Although it was early the quay was quite busy with the rowing club clambering into the boats and being shouted at by a very scary woman instructing them how to row!I had the walk from the quay to the mill through the woods by myself and was rewarded at the end of it by the most comic pumpkin carvings - my favourite had to be the pig! I meandered back to the quay for a toasted teacake and then headed home to let Tilly and Polly out to enjoy the day!
