Stooks at Belmont

There had been sunny spells this morning but it clouded over, it has been dry all day :)

I have a couple of days off work.  This morning was taken up with household chores and then went into work to finish off some photos needed for tonight.  My sister Julie has got me roped into doing an old photo show for the Baltasound S.W.R.I. tonight, so off I set up to Unst after lunch.  Not sure how many will turn up for the show tonight, but plenty of photos from across Shetland to show the ladies :)  Julie wasn't home when I arrived but I had a fine walk about Haroldswick. 

When I arrived in Unst, the first thing I spotted was these stooks of corn at Belmont.  The brakes were slammed on and had to turn around to snap a photo.  Seems a bit late in the year to be cutting corn, but I suppose, it still had to be done :)
