Chink in the Treacle

Just about everything has felt hard today. Two work webinars that really felt like running through treacle. I think they did the job and went okay but boy did they feel like hardwork today.

J had a real mixed bag of a day. 45 more pages of his book and a quite ridiculous 5 games of table tennis. Which may explain the hard afternoon. Came back this evening though.

Anna had her usual mad Tuesday (school, netball, ballet, tap) and was quite broken by the time she got home. Briefly restored having a go with our new game - Jibber Jabber. Your wear the mouth guards as modelled here by Anna (not sure she'll thank me for this one. Sorry Anna) and read a phrase out loud for your team to guess. It wasn't as hard as we thought but it may have party potential.

Carl also had some hard stuff going on today but may have made a little break through in finding someone to help with the next step of J's medical adventures. Nothing concrete to report yet but everything crossed for a chink of light.

Important to have a chink in your treacle.
