A band of mist drifting in from the sea

A visit to the vet to collect pills for one of the boys, it's about a 40 mile round trip and on the way felt intrigued with the band of colours and the mountain peering through the mist.

This was followed by a visit to our wonderful village shop, I read on fb that local bacon was in, did a quick dash in and wouldn't mind betting the bacon has sold out by now. I visit the shop 2-3 times a week with a view to buying a few things and end up coming out with two loaded carrier bag. Having said that part of the shopping this week was ingredients to make cakes and chutneys and now happy the Christmas cakes are done, the last two in the oven. Puddings next week, I usually make two dozen mini pudds and freeze them, very handy at times. However realised this morning I haven't ordered any cards yet.

The sun has gone but the rain is just about holding off.
