Diary of an Edinburgher

Physio!

I seem to spend a lot of my time clutching my new phone, watching YouTube videos on 'Tips and Tricks'. Fun! Though I didn't take any photos again - Archie Come! Sit! He likes JR's new £5 scarf.

Archie went off for the day with Annemique. I must say, I admire her work ethic - NO study on Tuesdays - spend it with Archie! Though I think an actual exam is going to interrupt this schedule soon.

JR went off to Morningside for various items - we no longer have a Post Office in our area, though a decade or so ago there were two.

The firewood and coal delivery arrived when they said last night. The coal bags were just put in the front garden. So today in a flurry of activity, I carried them all in. They were 10kg each, ten of 'em, so that's, er, quite a lot. I managed to stagger in and dump them into our indoor coal bunker, though I did have to sit down for quite a while when I'd finished. A couple of years ago I accidentally got ten 25kg bags. I nearly broke my back!

Then I had my first physio visit with my new new knee. I felt that my old new knee had regressed somewhat, but the physio measured my bends and stretches and declared it slightly better than last time I was there 5 weeks ago. After a bit of prodding, pulling and pushing my patella (most uncomfortable) she advised me to get the Prosecco bottles and oven gloves out again for the new knee stretching exercises.

Hmmmm, I have a much more therapeutic use for the Prosecco...
