The non-carol service

Dirk and Xandi had a lovely day today, messing about being boys.  Fun times.  

We went to one of the local villages for carols late afternoon, I'd thrown away the village circular with all the details in it and so had forgotten that they were going to be outside, by a road (around a Christmas tree).  So we came home, sadly.  Tomorrow we have a Christingle service though, so we'll get out Christmas carol fix.  

We snapped a couple of cylumes (glow-sticks) for the boy when we got home, so he didn't have a totally rubbish late afternoon. 

I've been given the evening off to watch the Strictly final - hurrah.  Apparently I can have another evening off sometime, but not next Sunday - I tried.
