Great Day

The day started at 0700 with Joshua bringing Clare and my 'stocking' to the room.
Still groggy from night shifts and a 58 hour week respectively we opened our gifts before grabbing another hours sleep.
The aroma of hot fresh Cinnamon Rolls made by Janet must have eventually woken me, delicious, another Christmas tradition may have just started.
I worked out my cooking 'clock' and set about getting everything ready and spent the remainder of the morning in the kitchen.
Eventually 1330 arrived and time to set the table, always help available setting the table, we know we are only a meal away from gifts!!
With the dishwasher loaded it was time to head for the lounge. Our tradition is novelty gifts in your stocking but main gifts after lunch, in that way the day is not over before breakfast.
Everybody was happy and satisfied, for myself, thoroughly spoilt with books, clothes, smellies and a Kondle.
An evening of TV, chat, exploring gifts and fun all accompanied by a help yourself buffet.

The best part of today was watching and enjoying Clare being with her two brothers at Christmas for the first time in around twenty years.
