Today's the day ........................ to sing and dance

The little village of Moniaive has been full of music on this first day of the new year.

If you could play any sort of instrument or like to sing, there was a chance for you to join in the impromptu sessions going on for most of the day at the Craigdarroch Arms Hotel, one of the two pubs in the village.  Then tonight there was the ceilidh in the Memorial Institute to raise funds for the Moniaive Gala to be held in the summer.

This is Tessa with her Dad experiencing her first ceilidh - but I'm sure that living in a place like Moniaive where there's always something entertaining going on - it won't be her last ...................
