Local quarry

We're still waiting for the playgroups to start following the Christmas break, so we're filling our days best we can.  This morning was a lovely walk which takes in the local quarry.  It always feel very 'other world' walking past and I weirdly love it.  The walk was lovely, we seem to bump into a fellow walker a lot, and her dog Bertie, who is super friendly, then we met a neighbour who has his grandson visiting from Australia - we've been invited in to see the snowdrops in the garden next time we're passing.  Then on the way home, we past the visiting gypsies and their wonderful horses, so gave one of them the obligatory pat and fuss.

Husband is out this evening, so it's home alone with the boys and either an early night, or catching up with chores and sewing.
