I think children must be on a different plane, time-wise.
Poppy was getting ready for school this morning. She said ' Time goes really fast doesn't it?
'Absolutely' I answered, (thinking 'it seems like 5 minutes since I had you'.)
She looked at me with a serious expression and said 'I remember when it was 10 to 7'
'Hmmmm' says I (thinking 'I remember when it was 1977')

Anyway, a fairly constructive day with a frosty dog walk and a good sort out of airing and linen cupboards. The day fairly flew by!

I'm off back to my jigsaw.
