Today's the day ............................. to see the sky

We've had so many days of murk  that we've forgotten what the sun and the sky look like.

I suppose the advantage of still, cloudy weather is that temperatures have been well above freezing up here - so no cold nights and morning frosts to contend with.  But even I (never a fan of frozen anything) have begun to feel rather hemmed in and restricted by the blanket of cloud.

This afternoon it all cleared away though to reveal a blue sky and the hint of a sunset - and the promise that temperatures will plummet through the night.  Ah well, I shall bear it bravely ..........................
