Luci and Lisa

Today was the wedding blessing of Luci and Jack. Those who read my journal will know that L&J are planning to get married in 2018 but are having a blessing as they have recently found out that Lisa (Luci's mum) has a rare and aggressive form of cancer and only has weeks to live. So today was a celebration of the saddest kind. A celebration of love with the feeling of loss so evident. Celebrating and grieving all at the same time. I can't imagine how anyone in this family is processing what is happening right now but we will continue to pray peace over them.

I had to rush off to Groove Cottage so I (thankfully) missed all the emotional bits and left that to SS.
