Apple strudel

I was lured out of the house for a dog walk today with the promise of a beer - and maybe chips - at Montpelier's. But it was too busy.

Just round the corner is Falko's, and it wasn't too busy. In fact, it was perfect. Dog friendly, no muzak and, most important of all, the best apple strudel this side of the Alps.

Note that we actually shared one. This wasn't will power, I am sorry to say. It was the only one left in the shop.

Much excitement this morning. We have booked, on the spur of the moment, a very exciting holiday for later in the year!
