Crow's Castle, Canwell Estate

A walk before lunch across the Canwell Estate.  This is a truly wonderful area of land, quintessentially English in character, complete with this tree covered knoll.  It was set off a treat by big skies today.  While I'm a great believer in progress, it will be sad to see this landscape impacted in the coming years by HS2.

After lunch, we carried out the last of Mom's wishes, spreading her ashes in the same location as Dad's, who died 17 years ago.  They are together again now.
