Cutting remarks

My barber is retiring. I've been going to him for over 25 years and today was my last chance to see him before he hangs up his scissors. So last chance for us to catch up and exchange views.

Then into the office. I've been long overdue a communication to the 3,000 volunteers who make up the hearings system. We have regular more formal papers updating on activities but a more direct communication is always worthwhile. Today I succeeded in issuing it. And completed a number of other tasks. So all in all, a good day.
